Lt. Col. Terrence R. Grimm is Commander, 311th Recruiting Squadron, Canonsburg, Pa. He leads a dedicated team in inspiring, engaging and recruiting the brightest, most competitive and diverse men and women for service in America's Air Force. He oversees a squadron of eight flights and 96 active-duty and 10 civilian personnel covering the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland -- more than 69,000 square miles. Lieutenant Colonel Grimm partners with military, civic, educational and community organizations to generate awareness of Air Force recruiting programs and develop public support for the Air Force.

Lieutenant Colonel Grimm received his commission through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at Syracuse University in December 1995. He has served as a communications-information systems officer on nuclear planning and command and control systems, and as a missile combat crew member in the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) weapon system. He previously held positions as an Emergency War Orders (EWO) instructor and planner, a Current Operations Flight Commander and an ICBM Force Employment Planner. He has held staff assignments at United States Strategic Command and 20th Air Force. Prior to this assignment, Lieutenant Colonel Grimm served as the Executive Officer to the Commander of 20th Air Force.
